“The EU and Russia are close neighbors with many common interests and concerns.”
Javier Solana, European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, 2008.

The German Council on Foreign Relations, DGAP in short (www.dgap.org), is Germany’s national foreign policy network. As an independent, private, non-partisan and non-profit organization, the Council actively takes part in political decision-making. The DGAP seeks to inform the public about international relations and to make a major contribution to the foreign policy debate in Germany.

The EU-Russia Forum is carried out by the Russia/Eurasia Center of the DGAP – with the support of the EU Commission, the Russian presidential administration and European research institutes. ]
